Ingredients


    Peach Filling

  • 1 - 15 oz. Can of Sliced Peaches in Simple Syrup
  • Pinch of Nutmeg
  • Pinch of Cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Molasses (optional)


  • Crust

  • 1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Tablespoon Plain Yellow Corn Meal
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Large Flake Nutritional Food Yeast
  • 1/2 Cup Almond Milk


Directions


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a sauce pan place all of the peach filling ingredients and bring to a boil. Then pour it into an 8 inch cake pan.

In a medium sized mixing bowl mix together all of the dry ingredients for the crust and then add the almond milk and stir together until well combined. Pour evenly on top of the peaches.

Place in oven and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until top is golden brown. Best served hot.
