    When I was a kid, my mom used to make open-faced grilled cheese sandwiches by putting a slice of cheese, some sliced tomatoes, and some oregano leaf on a slice of bread and then grilling them in the oven. As a vegan who doesn’t eat added fats (and therefore doesn’t take part in the Daiya-fest), I’ve missed those! But I think this would be PERFECT for them, and can’t wait to try them as soon as I can get my mitts on some decent fresh tomatoes! :-)
