A creamy and delicious vegan sour cream recipe. I recommend using this as a garnish for savory dishes, like taco salad. Probably not a good idea to use it in say, something to replace sour cream in a cake recipe for example. I wish I could find a vegan ranch dressing powder mix, this would be amazing for the base of the dressing. Anyone know of one? I tried creating my own but I just can’t quite get the ranch flavor right. Please leave a comment if you know of a good powder mix I can use. GO TO RECIPE >

I use the old standard during my pre-vegan days because my ‘friend’ had adverse reactions to MSG. I liked it a lot; but I feel your palate may be a little more discriminating.

Here goes:
for 1 1/2 cups
1/2 teaspoon dried chives
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

I am so looking forward to trying this with your recipe!
