Sweet Potato Biscuits

Sweet potato mash replaces a lot of the oil in these biscuits and also makes them a beautiful yellow color with flecks of orange.  They’re so yummy and soft and only 2.5o grams of fat for 2 biscuits. Great served with winter soups and stews. To make them nut free you can replace the almond milk with rice milk. GO TO RECIPE >

Hi! Just stumbled on your wonderful website! These look scrumptious! I have a pumpkin (not the small sweet kind) that I have steamed and pureed. I was wondering how much did your 1 small sweet potato come out to in cups?

These biscuits look so yummy, it’s hard to believe it only has 1 Tbs of oil and no eggs! I have to try this for sure!

Pauline, I should have stated in the recipe that it’s 1/2 a cup sweet potato. Thanks for the comment!

Can these be made oil free?

Barb, Not sure, I haven’t made them without the oil.
