    Jessica, 1/2 inch slices, not strips, going from top of the eggplant to the bottom. Is that better to understand?

    This was the best! Made for my wife who has vegan tendencies … I can’t believe how good/tasty this was and easier than it looks. The best vegan recipe I have tried, and we have quite a few books. I needed more breadcrumbs to coat the eggplant though. Well done and thanks for helping us eat less meat.
