Dear MVC Readers,
A Roman Catholic priest recently called Christmas the annual season of depression and neurosis. It is indeed the time of the greatest number of heart attacks. Over indulgence and high expectations have a price. Remember to reach out to those less fortunate and connect with those you think might be feeling lonely and need a friend. Fill your body with whole, healthy foods like fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Stay away from too much sugar, alcohol and added fats. Respect your body, because it is the greatest gift ever given to us, and no gift under the tree, no matter how large, can compare. Feel simple joy in being alive and if not well, have hope for the new year. Happy Holidays my lovelies, here’s to one more trip around the sun!
